Savour breakfast, lunch and dinner in the dining car. And have everything done around you aboard the two-day, Rocky Mountaineer all-daylight train. ITINERARY

Park Car DAY 1 The CANADIAN to Jasper
This evening transfer on your own to Vancouver's vintage rail station, where you'll board VIA Rail's Canadian. Enjoy first class "Silver & Blue" service as you and travel through the Fraser Valley's farmland before entering the narrow gorge of the Fraser Canyon. Continue through the rolling ranch country of the Interior Plateau as the train follows the North Thompson River to Kamloops and enters the majestic Rocky Mountains. Overnight onboard with dinner included.

DAY 2 Jasper
Arriving in the alpine townsite of Jasper this afternoon, you will be transferred to your hotel and have the remainder of the day to relax and explore.

Explorer's Circle DAY 3 Icelands Parkway
The spectacular Icefields Parkway awaits! Board your Brewser motorcoach and journey along one of Canada's most scenic routes, including a stop at the Columbia Icefield Interpretive Centre, where you will board a an all-terrain Snocoach Ice Explorer and explore the Athabasca Glacier. Continue, with a brief stop at Lake Louise, on to bustling Banff. Overnight Banff.

Rocky Mountaineer DAY 4 The Rocky Mountaineer to Kamloops
This morning you will be transferred to the Banff train station to begin the second rail portion of your itinerary, aboard the Rocky Mountaineer. You'll travel the historic and incredible Canadian Pacific rail route through Kicking Horse Canyon, the Spiral Tunnels and Rogers Pass, arriving in Kamloops in early evening. Overnight Kamloops.

DAY 5 The Rocky Mountaineer to Vancouver
Reboard the Rocky Moutaineer to complete your circle tour, traveling back through the Fraser Canyon to Vancouver. Breakfast and lunch are served onboard. Upon arrival in the west coast city of Vancouver transfer via taxi to your hotel.

DAY 6 Vancouver
A morning check-out from your hotel completes your Explorers Circle vacation.

DATES & PRICES

The Explorer's Circle tour departs Vancouver Sundays and Fridays during the Spring, Summer, and Fall. The tour price varies with season and options chosen. For two people, double occupancy, prices with moderate hotels start at $2215 per person in Canadian dollars. There are lower rates for triples, and, of course, higher rates for singles. Please e-mail for actual prices for your choice of options and for the dates you wish to go. Ask about the Gold Leaf upgrade (deluxe full-length dome car) on the Rocky Mountaineer.
